Hello Believers!
We are sorry that many of you have not yet received your copy of our new CD, The Jeffersons, Vol. 1. We are grateful for all of your support and will be working hard to get our new album to you in the very near future. Here is some information for you:
- for those Believers who purchased one part and are entitled to a digital download of the album, our preference would be to send you a link to a download directly, rather than through SellaBand. SellaBand will not provide us with individual email addresses to contact you directly. If you contact us at info@thejeffersonsmusic.com and provide us with your SellaBand name and email address we will send you an album download link immediately.
- for Believers that are entitled to receive the album, we have received a partial list (with addresses) from SellaBand. This list is incomplete and some of the addresses are clearly incorrect. We are in the process of sending the album to those on the list we have received. If you have not yet received the album from us, please contact us at info@thejeffersonsmusic.com and provide us with your SellaBand name, email address and physical address and we will send you a CD as soon as possible.
- we have received a number of questions about revenue sharing. We do not anticipate any distribution of net revenue for quite some time based on a number of factors: (1) revenue sharing is based on net revenue - meaning revenues once costs have been recouped; (2) this album was only partially funded by SellaBand and the actual costs of producing the album were more than double the SellaBand portion; (3) the costs of mailing the album to Believers is an additional cost to us that was not anticipated. When we joined SellaBand we were told that SellaBand would manage the distribution of physical CD's to Believers in Europe, however, as you know there was a bankruptcy and change of ownership and we were left to mail CD's from North America to our overseas Believers (at a cost of more than $5 per CD). Rest assured that once the album is 'in the black' we will provide SellaBand with the appropriate portion of net revenues for distribution to Believers.
